Pontus is the ruler of the Nautilan Empire, a new empire that falls under the umbrella of Druid ideology. He was the first new Lord to become a member of the Druid faction, while still retaining his independence as a Goa'uld Lord. Pontus has formed a close military alliance with Selvans . Pontus has taken a more advisory role within the empire, as well as a diplomatic role, as he was the first Lord to join with the Druids.
